hi! my name is sanaa mia, i'm a senior studying sociology and film at wesleyan university in middletown,ct.
i write screenplays, teleplays, and essays, make films, help my friends make films, and take lots and lots of photos.
some of the topics/themes i keep coming back to in my work include; (m)otherhood, reproductive justice, portrayals of muslim women, memory's distortions, confession culture, and how to define and practice loving.
